Kompass is a conept for a kids schoolbag + sportsbag made from old sail fabrics. This strong and lightweight material is well suited for kids, who should not carry heavy weights at their young age. Because of the stiffness of the sails material an origami approach was used do create a bag full of pockets. This project was empowered by a cooperation between the Instiute Industrial Design (FHNW/HGK) and the company Simplex AG. The project was realised together with the product designer Giulia Ravasio.
