How to seamlessly combine cork and glass into an ergonomic, space-saving food packaging solution? Developed for the Glassberries Design Awards 2015—in collaboration with industry leaders BA Vidro and Amorim — this project focuses on a redesigned family of glass cucumber jars across three different volume sizes.
Mentored by Michał Stefanowski at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, the design features an easy-to-grip cork lid coupled with an integrated glass container geometry. The precise interlocking shapes of the lid and base allow multiple jars to be securely stacked on top of one another, optimizing storage and handling. The result blends natural materials with modern utility, elevating everyday food packaging through functional, sustainable design.
